Established in 1990 by James Varner, JLV Productions was built to supplement his highly lucrative and wildly successful auto body repair business . After 30 plus years in
restoring classic cars to Concours d'Elegance quality, Jim felt it was necessary to further extend the capabilities of his personal autobody shop knowledge, so in Feb 1990 Jim decided to add a series of video's designed for the do it yourself mechanic
. Jim has owned and maintained his own world class autobody shop for over 30 years and has performed over 100 full blown (every nut and bolt) restorations, some of which have been featured in My Classic Car, Hot Rod Magazine, Chrysler Power Magazine, Mustang Illustrated, All Chevy Magazine, and Sport Truck Magazine, just to name a few. He has more than gained the respect of the entire automotive community by his stubborn attitude towards explicit perfection combined with his charismatic approach to automotive restoration.
